Website Design & Development Terms of Service
1. Services Provided
The Service Provider offers website design, development, edits, and related digital services as agreed upon with the client. Services may include layout design, website building, content placement, basic SEO setup, and minor maintenance tasks.
Any work requested outside the agreed scope will be billed separately at the hourly rate listed below.
2. Payment Terms
Hourly Rate: $50 per hour
Billing is based on actual time spent working on the project.
Invoices will be issued weekly.
Payment is due within 3 days of invoice receipt.
Work may be paused if payment is not received on time.
3. Scope of Work
The scope of each project will be agreed upon before work begins. Any changes, additions, or new requests made after approval will be treated as extra work and billed at the standard hourly rate.
4. Revisions
Reasonable revisions are included within the agreed scope. Major redesigns, structural changes, or new feature requests are billed at $50/hour.
5. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide all necessary materials in a timely manner, including:
Text and written content
Images, logos, and branding materials
Access to website platforms, hosting, or domain if required
Delays in providing materials may delay project completion.
6. Project Timeline
All timelines are estimates only and may vary depending on project complexity, client response time, and revision requests. The Service Provider is not responsible for delays caused by the client or third-party services.
7. Ownership & Rights
Upon full payment, the client receives full rights to the final website design and delivered content created specifically for the project.
The Service Provider retains the right to display completed work in a portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
8. Cancellations
Either party may cancel the project at any time.
The client is responsible for payment of all hours worked up until cancellation.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service Provider is not responsible for any damages, downtime, data loss, or issues caused by hosting providers, third-party tools, plugins, or platforms.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By approving the start of work, the client agrees to these terms and conditions in full.
